Nichole Ballard

Chief Detail Enthusiast & Client Cheerleader

Nichole has been part of this company since 1988 — with a few exciting detours as Director of Special Events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Director of Advertising & Marketing for Baltimore’s legendary Lexington Market. In 2019, she teamed up with Terah to buy the company, and the rest is history! Her mission? Keep the strong foundation intact while sprinkling in fresh ideas and energy.

Nichole loves working side-by-side with clients to turn big conference dreams into reality. She’s all about creative solutions, flawless details, and making sure every client feels like we’re part of their team (because we are!). As a former meeting planner, she knows the hustle and still thrives on the challenge of bringing people and ideas together.

When she’s off the clock, Nichole is a proud mom of two amazing daughters: one’s an environmental law attorney (and soon-to-be bride!), and the other is a Criminal Justice major tearing up the lacrosse field. At home, life is never boring thanks to her two gentle giants, Rocco and Lola, who think they’re lap dogs. Nichole’s happy place? Curled up with a good book or puzzle, surrounded by family, friends, and laughter.

Conference Chaos Wrangler & LEGO Legend

Terah earned her Business Administration degree from Frostburg State University and immediately decided the corporate ladder wasn’t nearly exciting enough. Instead, she dove headfirst into conference registration, joining YesEvents in 2007 after a previous life in government contracting as a Human Resource Analyst. (Yes—she’s always been into systems, spreadsheets, and making chaos behave.)

Now, Terah reigns as the queen of webforms, the fearless wrangler of attendee data, and the unshakable calm at onsite check-in when everything breaks at once. Bad Wi-Fi? Missing badges? Last-minute changes? Terah’s already fixing it—usually before anyone realizes it’s a problem—armed with experience, coffee, and a smile that says, “Relax. I’ve got this.”
When she’s not rescuing conferences from full meltdown mode, Terah is a proud mom to a 20-year-old pre-med student (aka a future doctor and the reason tuition season feels like an extreme sport). At home, she’s happily outnumbered by two opinionated pugs and a large, gentle-giant pit bull who firmly believes he’s a lap dog. Her idea of relaxing includes building LEGO sets so complicated they feel like engineering exams and crafting oversized knot blankets big enough to cozy up an entire small village. Organized at work, delightfully chaotic at home—that’s the Terah way.
